Thame Swimming Club have two club captains, one for the boys and one for the girls. Their role is to represent the swimmers at relevant committee meetings, to represent the club at events and to help the coach organize and motivate the swimmers at galas.
The club captains are chosen by the swimmers from swimmers in the County & District training group, they are swimmers who are committed to the sport, train and compete regularly and hence understand what it takes to progress in swimming. They are nominated and then voted for by the swimmers.
