Welcome to the Thame Swimming Club website

Thame Swimming Club was founded in April 2009 and has its home at Thame Leisure Centre. The club now offers training for competitive swimming at both Thame Leisure Centre pool and Risborough Springs swimming pool. The club is focused on the local development of swimmers across a broad range of training levels and also on keeping the fun factor high as well as retaining the great, welcoming atmosphere that Thame Swimming Club is known for.

We are a competitive swimming club, taking part in galas across the region to build the experience and achievement of our swimmers. Our club patron, Team GB Olympic swimmer Simon Burnett, encourages our swimmers with regular messages and drops in to see them when he can. Our excellent coaching team develops the swimmers skills as they progress from the ASA National Swimming Plan into the club and through the groups to the County & District Squad.

We celebrate their success at galas and an annual club championships with awards at a presentation night and, when possible, newspaper articles. So, if you think you’d like to develop your swimming skills, come along and join us!
