Ruth Reed: Head of Policies and SwimMark Accreditation

Contact: [email protected]

Ruth joined the committee in summer 2023 and has a swimmer in Group 3.  She is responsible for managing Thame Swimming Club's policies and the Club’s SwimMark Accreditation. The latter requires the Club to demonstrate best practice and tight governance across multiple areas. Our policies need regularly updating to reflect the latest guidance from Swim England, changes in legislation or examples of optimal practice learnt from other comparable organisations.

All of us at TSC want our swimmers and adult volunteers to enjoy a positive and safe environment. To achieve this, our swimmers, coaches, volunteers, parents/carers and committee members need to understand the club’s policies that relate to them and their roles and responsibilities. Our polices are all published on the Thame Swim Club website. If you have a question about our policies, please get in touch.

Anna is also involved in officiating at meets as a J1 and is always on the look out for more volunteers to help out with this.

Your swimmers's welfare is a priority for the club and Helen is always happy to be contacted if you or your swimmer are raising any concerns about anything that you or your swimmer are experiencing, seeing or hearing at training. Please always raise concerns, however small you feel they may be, so that they can be managed as soon as the club is aware.
